TypeGuard Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2, 2026
Overview
These Terms apply to TypeGuard, a macOS input source controller by KernelBeam.
Purchase
TypeGuard is sold as a paid Mac App Store app. Once downloaded through the App Store, the full v1 workflow is available without an additional app-internal payment, trial, subscription, account, or license key.
Refunds, billing, Family Sharing availability, and Apple account issues are handled by Apple under App Store rules.
Local Data
TypeGuard stores rules and preferences locally on your Mac. You are responsible for the app rules, input source choices, and local settings you create, edit, or delete with TypeGuard.
Acceptable Use
Do not use TypeGuard to violate laws, infringe rights, bypass access controls, or interfere with systems you are not allowed to control.
Availability
TypeGuard is provided as a local productivity utility. Features may change over time as macOS and App Store requirements change.
No Warranty
TypeGuard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, KernelBeam is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, business interruption, incorrect input source selection, or typing mistakes arising from use of TypeGuard.
