Legal DENU CAM
DENU Cam Privacy Policy
STILMORY uses the name DENU Cam from version 2.0 onward.
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Version information
STILMORY 1.x is the earlier version of the app, free to download with no in-app purchases. The sections labelled DENU Cam 2.0 apply to version 2.0 and later versions. Check the app version you are running to identify which sections apply.
Overview
DENU Cam is an iPhone camera app by KernelBeam. Photos, camera frames, Looks, and Gallery records are designed to stay on your device. DENU Cam does not require a KernelBeam account or operate a photo-upload service.
This notice covers STILMORY 1.x, which was a paid App Store download and is now free to download, with no in-app purchases. It also applies to DENU Cam 2.0 and later versions, including a test or review build that you actually run. STILMORY 1.x does not include RevenueCat and does not send product-usage events to KernelBeam. The DENU Cam 2.0 purchase sections apply to that version; the planned analytics sections apply only if that integration is enabled.
Photos and camera
Camera access is used for the live preview, photo capture, and, in DENU Cam 2.0, scanning a recipe code. Camera frames and finished photos are processed on your device and are not sent to KernelBeam, RevenueCat, or the analytics service.
DENU Cam stores its in-app Gallery, photo previews, and preferences in the app's private on-device storage. When you choose to save a finished photo to Apple Photos, DENU Cam requests the necessary Photos permission for that save. When you choose a recipe-code image in DENU Cam 2.0, it processes only the image you select; it does not browse your entire photo library.
If you use iCloud device backup, Apple may include app data in that backup according to your iOS and iCloud settings. DENU Cam is not a photo-cloud or recovery service. Deleting a Gallery item removes the in-app copy, but does not delete a copy you separately saved to Apple Photos.
Product analytics
STILMORY 1.x does not send app usage events to KernelBeam. A future 2.0 build may send limited, allowlisted events to KernelBeam's own analytics service to understand onboarding, paywall interactions, save outcomes, recipe-scan results, and app reliability.
If enabled, an event may include its name and time, app version, a random pseudonymous analytics identifier, and a small set of feature parameters such as a selected plan identifier or a success/failure result. The event design excludes photos, camera frames, QR-code or recipe contents, arbitrary text, Apple Account identifiers, purchase receipts, transaction identifiers, exact purchase amounts, currency values, and advertising identifiers. Purchase validation data is kept separate from behavior-event analytics.
The DENU Cam analytics service is not currently provisioned. Before a released version sends these events, KernelBeam will complete the service's access and retention controls and update this notice if the actual data or purposes differ. Analytics events are not used for targeted advertising.
Purchases and RevenueCat
STILMORY 1.x was a paid App Store download and is now free to download, with no in-app purchases. DENU Cam 2.0 offers optional monthly and yearly auto-renewable Pro subscriptions and a one-time Pro Lifetime purchase. Apple processes App Store billing, payment methods, and refunds.
In DENU Cam 2.0, RevenueCat helps validate Apple purchases and manage Pro entitlement status. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous RevenueCat App User ID, product and purchase-history details, Apple receipt or transaction data needed for validation, subscription status and dates, and technical information such as app version, device platform, language, or currency. DENU Cam does not send RevenueCat your photos or camera content. RevenueCat does not receive your payment-card details from DENU Cam; Apple handles App Store payment processing.
DENU Cam 2.0 sends RevenueCat a subscriber attribute named legacy_1_0 when a user is recognized as a STILMORY 1.0 customer; customers may receive Pro access subject to verification of Apple's purchase record.
RevenueCat purchase data is used to provide and administer Pro access, and to give KernelBeam subscription and revenue reporting (such as purchase, renewal, and cancellation trends) in RevenueCat's dashboard. This data is not linked to a KernelBeam account, is not used for advertising or tracking, and is not sent to KernelBeam's behavior-event analytics service. It is not sent to KernelBeam's behavior-event analytics service. For information about RevenueCat's processing, see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Sharing
Sharing a photo is optional and uses Apple's system share sheet. The photo is sent only to the destination you select, and that destination's privacy terms apply. KernelBeam does not receive the shared photo through the share sheet.
KernelBeam may use infrastructure providers to host and secure its own analytics service if that service is enabled. Those providers process event data on KernelBeam's instructions. We do not sell DENU Cam photo or usage data.
Storage and retention
Photos, Gallery records, and preferences remain in the app's local storage unless you choose an Apple backup or sharing destination. Apple and any destination you choose apply their own storage and retention terms.
App analytics collection is not active in STILMORY 1.x. When introduced, event records will be kept only as long as needed for product analytics, service security, and legal obligations, then deleted or aggregated under the service's retention controls. RevenueCat and Apple retain purchase records under their respective service terms and applicable requirements.
Your choices and requests
You control whether to grant Camera and Photos permissions in iOS Settings and whether to share a photo to another app. You may contact us to ask about personal information related to DENU Cam or make a privacy request. Because the app does not require an account and planned analytics identifiers are pseudonymous, we may need the app version and approximate date to investigate a request.
Changes
We will update this policy when DENU Cam's data practices change. Describing a planned feature here does not by itself start data collection; features that a build you actually run includes, such as RevenueCat in DENU Cam 2.0, are covered by the sections above.
