Version information

STILMORY 1.x is the earlier version of the app, free to download with no in-app purchases. The sections labelled DENU Cam 2.0 apply to version 2.0 and later versions. Check the app version you are running to identify which sections apply.

DENU Cam 2.0 cameras and films

DENU Cam 2.0 has six camera styles and 30 films: Pocket CCD 05, Snap 27, Duo Half, Atelier 35, Mono M, and Instant Square. All 30 films are available for shooting; Pro does not restrict photo capture.

In DENU Cam 2.0, tune contrast, highlights, shadows, warmth, and saturation before you shoot. Zoom can reach up to 8×, depending on your device and lens; the available range varies and is not all optical zoom.

DENU Cam 2.0 lets you scan an official recipe QR code or read one from an image you select, add it to My recipes, and use it in the camera. Official recipes and saving or sharing photos taken with them are free.

Choose an aspect ratio before capture

STILMORY 1.x offers 3:4, 1:1, and 9:16. Tap the aspect-ratio chip in the live frame to open FORMAT, then choose the ratio before pressing the shutter. Each Gallery image retains the ratio selected for that shot.

DENU Cam 2.0 includes 3:4, 4:5, 1:1, and 9:16. Instant Square uses a fixed 1:1 ratio with a white border. Choose the available ratio before capture; the selected ratio is retained with the shot.

Saving and sharing photos

In STILMORY 1.x and DENU Cam 2.0, tap Save to add an eligible finished photo to Apple Photos. The app requests add-only Photo Library permission only at that point and does not browse your library for saving. You can also use Share to choose another destination.

In DENU Cam 2.0, photos taken with the first film in each camera are free to save and share. This means the first film, not only your first photo. Photos taken with other Pro films remain in the in-app Gallery; Pro unlocks saving and sharing those photos. Official-recipe photos and historical STILMORY 1.0 photos can also be exported for free.

Gallery storage

The in-app Gallery keeps local copies so that you can revisit your shots. The app checks free space before capture. If device storage is too low, free space and try again. Delete individual in-app Gallery shots to remove their in-app archive; this does not delete copies already saved to Apple Photos.

Camera permissions and interruptions

Grant Camera access after onboarding to use the live camera. If another app, a call, or iOS temporarily interrupts the camera, return to the app and wait for the preview to become ready before taking another photo. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.

Purchase

STILMORY 1.x was sold as a one-time paid App Store download and is now free to download. STILMORY 1.x includes all its existing Looks and features, with no subscription or in-app purchase. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules.

DENU Cam 2.0 is free to download with optional Pro purchases: a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time Pro Lifetime purchase. Monthly and yearly plans auto-renew until cancelled; Lifetime is a one-time payment that does not renew or create a recurring charge. Pro unlocks saving and sharing Pro-film photos. Available plans and current prices are shown in the app's Apple purchase flow.

In DENU Cam 2.0, use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account that made the purchase. Manage or cancel a subscription in iPhone Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select DENU Cam. To prevent the next renewal, turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. If you cancel, Pro access generally remains available until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Apple handles billing and refunds. Request a refund through Apple's Report a Problem page.

Customers whose paid STILMORY 1.0 purchase is recognized by Apple may receive Pro access in DENU Cam 2.0 without a new in-app payment. This existing-customer access does not create a subscription or recurring charge. Use Restore Purchases in DENU Cam 2.0 with the same Apple Account used for that paid purchase.
