WriteTrail Terms of Use

Overview

These Terms apply to WriteTrail, a Chinese handwriting practice app for Apple devices by KernelBeam. By using WriteTrail, you agree to these Terms and the applicable App Store terms.

Purchases and subscriptions

WriteTrail may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time purchase. The available plans, prices, billing periods, trial eligibility, and terms are shown by Apple before you confirm a purchase. Any introductory offer is subject to Apple’s eligibility rules.

Apple charges your Apple Account for a purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through your App Store subscription settings before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Deleting WriteTrail does not cancel a subscription. A one-time purchase does not renew automatically. Billing, refunds, and purchase restoration are handled under Apple’s App Store rules.

Your writing and local data

Learning progress and saved handwriting samples are stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping any separate copies you want to retain. KernelBeam cannot restore local data that it has not received.

Acceptable use

Use WriteTrail lawfully. Do not interfere with the app or its security, or use it to infringe another person’s rights.

Availability and warranty

Features may change as the app, iOS, StoreKit, and App Store requirements evolve. WriteTrail is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent allowed by law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, KernelBeam is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of WriteTrail, including loss of local data.

Apple terms

Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a custom EULA is provided through the App Store. If these Terms conflict with non-waivable App Store or local-law requirements, those requirements control.
